North Coast Music Festival :: 09.02 – 04.16 :: Union Park :: Chicago, IL
Chicago’s Union Park once again hosted the North Coast Music Festival over Labor Day Weekend. The typically eclectically diverse lineup spanned the spectrum of music genres including headlining sets by Odesza, Grouplove, Bassnectar, Logic, Zedd and Umphrey’s McGee.
The weekend’s action included a high energy set from NOLA-based The Revivalists on Friday, while a fun and funky appearance by Vulfpeck on Saturday – along with sets by local trio Future Rock, Burlington jammers Twiddle and Sean Ono Lennon and Les Claypool’s The Claypool Lennon Delirium – highlighted the second day. The final day was capped by performances by instrumental foursome TAUK, Michigan-based jamgrass outfit Greensky Bluegrass and the aforementioned hometown headliners Umphrey’s McGee who welcomed Anders Beck of GSBG and Jennifer Hartswick during their set.
