A huge 2023 for Noah Kahan included taping his debut appearance on Austin City Limits. Kahan shares the hour with mariachi act Flor de Toloache on the Season 49 episode premiering tomorrow, Saturday, February 10 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on PBS (check local listings). Preview the installment by watching Kahan’s “Dial Drunk” performance on the long-running live music television program below.

The Vermont native played the show’s home of The Moody Theater in the Texas capital on September 25, 2023. Kahan performed 16 songs from his breakthrough 2022 album, Stick Season, at the taping with five to air on this weekend’s episode of Austin City Limits. Noah Kahan was nominated in the Best New Artist category at the 2024 Grammys, an award ultimately taken home by Victoria Monet.

Noah Kahan put the spotlight on his band before performing “Dial Drunk” on ACL. “These guys have been touring with me for a long time and I just love them and appreciate them so much,” Noah said. “I’m only saying this because it’s on-camera, backstage it’s all Ellen DeGeneres-type …,” Kahan quipped to laughs from the crowd.

Featured on Stick Season, “Dial Drunk” was written by Noah Kahan and Noah Levine with Post Malone appearing on the studio version. The platinum smash “changed by life,” Kahan told a crowd that enthusiastically sang along with each and every word. Kahan stepped back from the mic at one point to let the audience handle vocal duties. Other Stick Season cuts featured in Kahan’s ACL debut include the title track, “All My Love,” “Northern Attitude” and “Homesick.”
