boygenius, Billy Strings, SZA & Jon Batiste Among 2024 Grammy Award Nominees

Nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards were revealed on Friday with boygenius, Billy Strings, SZA and Jon Batiste among those scoring multiple nominations. The 66th Grammy Awards ceremony will broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 4, 2024.
SZA tops the list with a total of nine nominations including Album Of The Year for Kill Bill as well as Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year for the title track among others.
Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus scored seven nominations for there work with boygenius. The supergroup clocked noms for Album Of The Year (the record) and Best Rock Performance for “Not Strong Enough” plus more.
Billy Strings is up for three awards, one on his own and additional nods for collaborations with Dierks Bentley (Best Country Duo/Group Performance “High Note”) and Willie Nelson (Best American Roots Song “California Sober”). Billy’s collaborative album with his father Terry Barber, Me/And/Dad, is up for Best Bluegrass Album. Strings is in good company in the category with Willie Nelson, Sam Bush, Molly Tuttle, Michael Cleveland and supergroup Mighty Poplar also nominated.

Elsewhere on the list are six total nominations for Jon Batiste including Album Of The Year (World Music Radio), Record Of The Year (“Worship”) and Song Of The Year (“Butterfly”).
Others notable nominations include Taylor Swift (AOTY Anti-Hero), Olivia Rodrigo (AOTY GUTS), Foo Fighters (Best Rock Album But Here We Are), Miley Cyrus (AOTY Endless Summer Vacation), Lana Del Rey (AOTY Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd), Victoria Monét (ROTY “On My Mama”), Jack Antonoff (Producer Of The Year), Arctic Monkeys (Best Rock Performance “Sculptures Of Anything Goes”) and The War and Treaty (Best New Artist).
Additionally, the 2024 Grammys feature three new categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording. Click here for the full list of nominees.
