Kurt Vile & The Violators performed “99 BPM” on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The appearance was the first for the group fronted by guitarist Kurt Vile.
The song they selected comes from Vile’s album, Philadelphia’s Been Good To Me, which was released this year via Verve Records. The album included contributions from The Violators: bassist Adam Langellotti, drummer Kyle Spence and guitarist Jesse Trbovich.
The band begins the second leg of their North American Tour supporting the album on Wednesday in Buffalo, New York.
