Keyboardist Nigel Hall now calls New Orleans his home and will keep very busy during this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival season. Hall has confirmed 11 performances spanning 11 days in the Crescent City this spring.
Nigel kicks off his Jazz Fest season with a The Nigel Hall Experience performance at Howlin’ Wolf on April 21. Then, on April 23, the keyboardist plays the Fairgrounds with his Nigel Hall Band project. Hall will perform with Lettuce at Tipitina’s on April 24 ahead of a show with Marc Broussard at Southport Hall on April 26. MVP (Jon Cleary, Nigel Hall, Tony Hall, Raymond Weber, Derwin “Big D” Perkins) plays the NOLA Crawfish Fest on April 27, a date that will also find Nigel playing Fiya Fest with Dr. Klaw and participating in the Suwannee Family Affair at One Eyed Jacks.
New Orleans’ Joy Theater hosts Lettuce and the Nigel Hall Band on April 28. The next night, April 29, Dr. Klaw plays Howlin’ Wolf. The keyboardist ends his busy Jazz Fest season with a pair of performances on May 1 as the Nigel Hall Band plays the 16th annual Jazz Fest Crawfish Band and he takes part in the MJ Vs. Stevie event at Howlin’ Wolf.
