Over the past few years Brooklyn Bowl in New York City has hosted “Brooklyn Is…” tributes to the Grateful Dead, CSNY and Bruce Springsteen. Another tribute is coming and will honor the music of iconic musical label Motown Records.
Brooklyn Is Motown will be held at the original Brooklyn Bowl location on March 1. The Nigel Hall Band has been tapped to headline the tribute to the label that launched the careers of such famed artists as Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder. Special guests are expected to perform as well. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 13 at 10 a.m. ET via the venue’s website.
