Janelle Monáe and The Roots are among the many artists on the 2025 Newport Jazz Festival lineup. Produced by the Newport Festival Foundation in collaboration with Newport Jazz Artistic Director Christian McBride, the 71st annual event will be held at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island, August 1 – 3.
Newport Jazz 2025 will also present performances by Jacob Collier, Raye, Jorja Smith, Esperanza Spalding, WILLOW, Thee Sacred Souls, De La Soul, Rachael & Vilray, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, LA LOM, Dianne Reeves, SOFI TUKKER (butter set), Philadelphia Experiment, Stanley Jordan (solo), Cymande, Kenny Garrett, Ron Carter Quartet, Bela Fleck, Edmar Castañeda & Antonio Sanchez Trio; Louis Cato, John Scofield & Marcus Miller and more.
