New Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds Album Coming

Jam scene favorites Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds have announced they will release a new album, The Weather Below, on May 19. Front woman Arleigh Kincheloe wrote the 10 original tracks found on the album, which was produced by the band and Grammy Award-winning producer Ryan Hadlock (Lumineers, Vance Joy, Ra Ra Riot, Blonde Red Head).

Look for the album’s first single, “Mama Knows,” to drop on March 17. “I knew I wanted to do something different with this record,” said Arleigh in a statement. “By working with Ryan Hadlock we were able to strip each song down to its core. I feel more confident in this album than anything I’ve ever done.”

A pre-order for The Weather Below is currently available here and the LP will be available to purchase digitally via iTunes, Amazon, and other digital retailers, as well as in stores both on CD and vinyl.
