Tyler Childers

Snipe Hunter

  • Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records
  • 13 tracks

Tyler Childers shared his seventh studio album, Snipe Hunter, via Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records. The Kentucky-native singer-songwriter’s highly-anticipated follow-up to 2023’s Rustlin’ In The Rain was helmed by legendary producer Rick Rubin. Childers and Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn provided additional production. The album was mixed by Shawn Everett.

“It’s observations from a traveling hillbilly,” Childers told GQ about the new album. “Huntin’ our sounds and trying new things to find it, and hunting our path. It asks, in so many different ways, what are you looking for? … An album, to me, is a painting. Each track is a brush stroke, all working together to create a cohesive dramatic idea. It just feels like I’ve matured and I’ve grown up, and this represents my past and my path in a really good way.”

Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band

New Threats From The Soul

  • Sophomore Lounge/Tough Love
  • 7 tracks

Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band released a new album, New Threats From The Soul, today via Sophomore Lounge/Tough Love. The new album sees Davis supported by his bandmates, Will Lawrence (drums/piano/vocals), Elisabeth Fuchsia (viola/violin), Seth Manchester (percussion/sub bass/software programming), Jim Marlowe (bass/saxophone/dood/ebow), Christopher May (pedal steel/resonator) and Aaron Rosenblum (violin/sampling keyboard/tape loops).

The group recorded New Threats From The Soul with Seth Manchester in late 2024 and early 2025 at Machines With Magnets in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Along with Irwin, the album features backing vocals by Will Oldham (Bonnie “Prince” Billy), Lou Turner, Jenny Rose and Myriam Gendron, along with instrumental contributions from Turner (flute) and several others. “Making this album with these legends and finally having my touring band be on record is just a grand slam for me musically,” Allman said. “Also, returning to Ruf Records as I expand my European touring is an important move for me. I look forward to playing these songs on stage worldwide over the next 12 months.”

Fitz and The Tantrums

Man On The Moon

  • Atlantic Records
  • 14 tracks

Fitz and The Tantrums’ new album, Man On The Moon, arrived today via Atlantic Records. The group’s first studio effort in three years follows Fitz and The Tantrums’ 2022 LP, Let Yourself Free, a sentiment they carried over when creating Man On The Moon.

“I decided I was simply going to write for my heart and for my soul and nobody else,” frontman Michael “Fitz” Fitzpatrick stated. “At this point in our career, myself and the band feel we have complete creative license. Because, c’mon, nobody knows what the rules are anymore. So I’m not going to chase some vapor in the wind. I’m going to just do what I want.”

“We’ve never wanted to be stuck in a box. We refused to do that,” co-lead vocalist Noelle Scaggs added. “With this project, we’re daring to be different.”

Folk Bitch Trio

Now Would Be A Good Time

  • Jagjaguwar
  • 10 tracks

Folk Bitch Trio issued their debut album, Now Would Be A Good Time, through Jagjaguwar. The Melbourne/Naarm-based outfit is comprised of Gracie Sinclair, Jeanie Pilkington and Heide Peverelle, who met in high school. Pulling from disparate influences, they began making music together five years ago. The close-knit group recorded the 10-track effort with Tom Healy in late 2024 in Auckland, New Zealand. The album includes the previously shared lead single “The Actor.”

“[T]he chemistry of being inspired by each other was evident from the get-go,” Sinclair stated.

“We all talked about loving music when we were growing up, and knowing we wanted music to be a big part of our lives,” Pilkington said. “But for me at least, when I looked into the future, it was this relatively mysterious thing.”

Jeezy

Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101

Jeezy released a new live album entitled TM:101 Live. The LP features an orchestral reimagining of the rapper’s 2005 debut, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Moving beyond a conventional live recording, Jeezy joined forces with Grammy and Emmy Award winner Adam Blackstone and acclaimed composer Derrick Hodge to reinvent his debut hits as orchestral pieces with the Color of Noize Orchestra.

“20 years in the game, it’s more than music—it’s purpose. And that is and always has been to inspire and elevate the culture!” Jeezy stated. “Thank you to those who never stop believing!”

“20 years of victories, struggles, and growth—every setback was worth it,” added Jeezy. “If I could talk to my younger self in ’05, I’d say: ‘They might hear you in ’05, but in 2025, they gon’ feel you!’ You’re doing God’s work! Keep going!”

NBA YoungBoy

MASA

  • Never Broke Again/Motown
  • 30 tracks
