Neil Young & Jimmy Fallon Team For ‘Two Neil Youngs On A Tree Stump’

Before veteran rocker Neil Young headed to Europe for a tour with Promise Of The Real, he visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to film a video that aired last night. Young teamed with Fallon, who was doing his Neil impersonation, for a song called “Two Neil Youngs On A Tree Stump.”
The song had Neil-esque lyrics about how the living tree became merely a stump and included the line Neil Young “came from the future back to the past to warn your ass.” This wasn’t the first time Fallon impersonated Neil Young as “two Neil Youngs” performed “Old Man” during the rocker’s 2015 visit to The Tonight Show and Jimmy filled Young’s role in CSNY’s cover of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” in 2014.
