Neil Young & Crazy Horse will release a new album entitled Barn on December 10 through Reprise Records. The album’s lead single, “Song Of The Seasons,” is available to stream via the Neil Young Archives website.

According to Young, “Song Of The Seasons” was “written in Canada about a year ago” and is the “oldest song” on Barn. Work on the new 10-track album was revealed by Young earlier this year. The recording sessions took place in an exact replica of an 1850s barn, built in the Colorado mountains at the same site as the original it was based on.

The follow-up to 2019’s Colorado was recorded by Young with Crazy Horse drummer Ralph Molina, guitarist Nils Lofgren and bassist Billy Talbot. Young co-produced Barn with fellow “Volume Dealer” Niko Bolas.

Earlier this year, Neil Young & Crazy Horse released the live album, Way Down in the Rust Bucket that was recorded in 1990. Last year the group released Return To Glendale, another live album recorded in 2003.
