Saturday night Mumford & Sons brought their Wilder Mind Tour to Bonnaroo’s What Stage for a late night headlining set that saw the band play songs from throughout their career. Though the setlist was dominated by tracks off their recently released Wilder Mind LP, the British folk-rock-revivalists performed a number of songs from their debut album Babel as well as their sophomore effort Sigh No More.
Mumford & Sons previously played Bonnaroo in 2010 and again in 2011 however, bassist Ted Dwane’s emergency brain surgery forced the group to cancel their planned appearance at the 2013 Bonnaroo festival. Dwane and the rest of the band delivered an energetic performance last night, capping the 20-song set off with their frequently performed cover of The Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends” accompanied by members of My Morning Jacket, Dawes, Hozier, as well as Danny Clinch on harmonica, Jon Natchez on saxophone and comedian Ed Helms on banjo (who also appeared earlier in the set), among several others.

Update 6/14 6:00 p.m. PT: Earlier reports of members of The War On Drugs joining The Beatles cover were incorrect.
It’s good to have the boys on the Farm again. Welcome back, @MumfordAndSons! #Bonnaroo #acexperience pic.twitter.com/Ho2t6KjDJV
