It’s been a big few days for Mumford & Sons as their Full English Tour rolls on. Last night at Oak Mountain in Pelham, AL; the band continued a trend started earlier on the run, when they brought up an audience member to sing a classic rock cover. This time the cover was location -specific, as audience member Chris Godfrey was picked out of the crowd to sing the Lynyrd Skynyrd anthem “Sweet Home Alabama.”

Godfrey did a pretty good job with the tune as you can see from this fan-shot video:

In other Mumford-related news, Marcus Mumford was one of the Del McCoury Band’s special guest in Downtown Guthrie, OK on Friday night as part of Mumford & Sons’ Gentlemen Of The Road Stopover. Jeff Austin, Danny Barnes and Mumford fiddler Ross Holmes also appeared with Del and his band during the show. Del’s YouTube channel features an amazing video of Marcus sitting in with the Del McCoury Band on “Angel Band”:
