TOM PETTY REFORMS HIS OLD BAND
FOR DEBUT ALBUM AND THEATRE/CLUB TOUR IN APRIL

Vintage Mud
“I just finished a record with Mudcrutch, my old band before the Heartbreakers. I am over the moon about it. I couldn’t have hoped for it to be as good as it came out,” says Tom Petty.

Before embarking on his summer tour with Steve Winwood, Petty and Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell and keyboardist Benmont Tench will join Petty’s old bandmates singer-guitarist Tom Leadon and drummer Randall Marsh for a reunion even the most speculative rock fans couldn’t have predicted.

The pride of Gaineville, Florida in the early ’70s, Mudcrutch released only one single in their time together before disbanding in 1975. More than 30 years later, Mudcrutch will release their self-titled debut full-length on April 29, bringing new shades of meaning to the phrase “long awaited.”
