Watch Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Lenny Kravitz, LL Cool J & Other VMAs Performances

The MTV VMAs were held last night at UBS Arena outside New York City with Taylor Swift and Post Malone’s collaboration “Fortnight” winning Video Of The Year. The awards show was hosted by Megan Thee Stallion who was also one of the many performers alongside Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Lenny Kravitz, LL Cool J, Katy Perry and others.

Swift was a big winner last night, winning the Artist Of The Year and Best Pop VMAs as well. “Fortnight,” from the Swift’s 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department, also earned Swift and Malone the Best Collaboration and Song Of The Summer VMAs.

Eminem kicked off the program with “Houdini,” which would win the Best Hip Hop VMA, and “Somebody Save Me” from his recently released album, The Death Of Slim Shady. Sabrina Carpenter performed songs from her 2024 album, Short n’ Sweet, including Song Of The Year winner “Espresso.”

Chappell Roan, who won Best New Artist, set the stage ablaze with a captivating performance of “Good Luck, Babe!” Guitarist Lenny Kravitz won the Best Rock VMA for his song “Human” that was part of a medley Kravitz performed featuring rapper Quavo. Along with pulling hosting duties, Megan Thee Stallion took the stage to showcase tracks from her 2024 album, MEGAN.

Katy Perry, who was given the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, performed a 10-minute medley of songs from across her career. Hip-hop legend LL Cool J led a show-closing celebration of the 40th anniversary of Def Jam featuring Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Flavor Flav.

Other 2024 VMA performers included Shawn Mendes, Karol G, Lisa, GloRilla, Anitta, Benson Boone, Halsey, Rauw Alejandro, Camila Cabello, Teddy Swims and Jessie Murph. Watch officially shared videos of last night’s MTV VMA live performances below:
