NEW ALBUM ARRIVES IN MARCH
BAND’S NAME STILL SPELLED LIKE A SUPERMAN VILLAIN

“MSTRKRFT’s music is sweaty and thick, convincingly urgent and highly sexual – only it’s full-on house music” – Alternative Press

“You get the sense that there’s no dingy rock ‘n’ roll club that they can’t turn into a sweaty, over-sexed rave.” – XLR8R

The long awaited sophomore album from MSTRKRFT will be released on Dim Mak/Downtown Records on March 17, 2009. Fist Of God is the follow up to the Canadian duo’s massively successful 2006 debut, The Looks and features contributions from N.O.R.E., Ghostface Killah, Bay Area hip-hop icon E-40, Freeway, Lil’ Mo and John Legend. MSTRKRFT’s Jesse Keeler and Al-P revisit the raw influences of their early punk roots with a nod to house music from Chicago and Detroit on Fist of God, which pushes boundaries and preconceptions about contemporary dance music.

Here’s the duo being interviewed on I Love Techno TV last year, where they trace their influences and style.

And for something more prurient, pop over here for the silly, soft core milk shake plop of the “Easy Love” video.
