My Morning Jacket Shares ‘Golden’ Demo

On May 27, ATO Records will release a deluxe reissue of My Morning Jacket‘s 2003 album It Still Moves. Today, the band has shared the demo for the album track and concert favorite “Golden.”

MMJ frontman Jim James remixed the reissued deluxe edition with Kevin Ratterman and famed engineer Bob Ludwig performed the remastering at his Gateway Mastering facility in Portland, Maine. The deluxe version of It Still Moves comes with three previously unreleased tracks as well as James’ 10 demos of the songs on the initial offering. My Morning Jacket returns to the stage on Thursday, May 26 at Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn at White River State Park in Indianapolis. The Barr Brothers are slated to open.
