Morgan Wallen’s Inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival Replacing Hangout In 2025

Hangout Festival organizers AEG Presents are turning over the keys to Morgan Wallen in 2025 to curate and headline the inaugural Sand In My Boots. The three-day music festival and beach vacation will be held at the Hangout site on the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama from May 16 – 18, 2025.

“This one-of-a-kind festival features a highly curated multi-genre lineup with some of Wallen’s closest friends, favorite artists, those who have inspired him, and that he has always wanted to perform with. Every artist, activity, and experience will be handpicked by Wallen, driven by his excitement to share great music and create memories with fans, friends, family, and peers,” noted a press release announcing the new event. The lineup and ticketing details are to be announced.

The Hangout Music Festival made its debut in 2010. Next year will be the first without a Hangout Fest since besides 2020 and 2021, when the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Morgan Wallen here to share some exciting news me and my team have been working on for a while for y’all,” the country star stated in a video message. “We’re heading south to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama and I’m bringing some good friends with me.
