Last month we dedicated one of our Sunday Cinema columns to 1987’s Ween Movie filmed by Tom Nichols in Ween’s home town of New Hope, PA. Last night more footage from the short film was shared on the Facebook fan page of Boognish Rising, a Ween documentary that’s in the works.

In the deliciously weird footage, provided by Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman himself, we get to see 17-year-old Gene and Dean Ween talk (at the same time) about “Leaving The Earth” and proceed to show the cameraman how in fact they leave the earth…

On another Ween note, our pal JR Hevron hipped us to this amazing 14-minute Ween Piano Medley in which a female keyboardist works through dozens of Ween songs including “Freedom of ’76,” “Piss Up A Rope,” “What Deaner Was Talking About” and “Pork Roll Egg and Cheese.”
