Mockumentary | Coldplay Preps Game Of Thrones Musical

Yesterday NBC broadcast Red Nose Day, a three-hour telethon that raised funds for children’s charities. While Thursday marked the U.S. debut of the Red Nose Day broadcast, the fundraiser has been going on for over 30 years in the U.K. British rockers Coldplay contributed a silly sketch for this year’s Red Nose Day worth checking out. 
The premise of the sketch is that Chris Martin & Co. are prepping a Game Of Thrones musical. In the video, which is presented in Spinal Tap mockumentary form, we see Coldplay enlist the actors from Game Of Thrones to perform the musical they’ve written with various levels of success. Let’s just say Coldplay’s vision of “Red Wedding” is just a little different from what George R.R. Martin had in mind. Take a look:
