Metallica Announces New Album ‘Hardwired…To Self-Destruct’

Heavy metal legends Metallica will release their new album, Hardwired…To Self-Destruct on November 18. The band’s 11th studio album contains nearly 80 minutes of music spread across two discs.

The album and is available for pre-order in a variety of configurations including 12 songs on a double CD, vinyl, digital download, as well as a deluxe version with the riffs that were the origins of the album. Those who pre-order the album through Metallica.com will receive an instant download of the song “Hardwired.”

Hardwired…To Self-Destruct comes eight years after the band’s last studio effort, Death Magnetic. The lengthy span marks the longest gap between LPs in Metallica history. Metallica will release the new album through their own Blackened Recordings. Greg Fidelman produced Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
