On May 18, a new project dubbed “The Burn Unit” will make its debut at Ophelia’s in Denver. The quartet features guitarist DJ Williams of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, drummer Jeremy Salken of Big Gigantic, bassist Garrett Sayers of The Motet and keyboardist Borahm Lee of Break Science.
Special guests are expected to join the group at Ophelia’s. Look for The Burn Unit to unveil original material at the show. “[I’m always] looking to make music with friends on the scene and Jeremy & I came up with this lineup of these great musicians and I’ve got these original tunes I’ve been sitting on and I’m very excited to see how these guys will interpret this music. A lot of improvisation will be involved as well which always keeps things exciting for the band as well as the audience. I think Denver will be a great town to debut this lineup,” said DJ Williams.
Ticketing information will be announced soon.
