M. Ward Show Moves From Gundlach Bundschu To Terrapin Crossroads Due To Fires

Singer-songwriter M. Ward was set to bring his current tour to The Historic Redwood Barn at Gundlach Bundschu late this month, but the fires that recently ravaged Sonoma and Napa have forced the location of the concert to be changed. Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael, California will now host M. Ward on October 29.
“Terrapin Crossroads welcomes M. Ward with open arms to the Grate Room on October 29th. Our thoughts are with our friends at Gundlach Bundschu as they work tirelessly to open their winery doors to the public, after what has already been an emotional and exhausting couple of weeks fighting the fires back,” reads a note from the Terrapin Crossroads team. “Our thoughts are with everyone in Northern California at this time. So many people in our community have been affected. We will work together to rebuild. We are music lovers, wine lovers and simply a community filled with folks with a lot of love.”
Promoter Britt Govea of (((folkYEAH!))) Presents wrote, “To do for you, to see you through” from one of Phil’s signature songs, “Box Of Rain” to start his statement. Govea added, “(((folkYEAH!))) and Gundlach Bundschu are eternally grateful to Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family for generously hosting these relocated shows, so we can continue to bring the music to music lovers of the Bay Area and beyond. Our prayers continue to go out for Sonoma and Napa, and we’re looking forward to getting back to the Barn at Gundlach Bundschu in November.”
Palehound has been tapped to open. Tickets purchased for the original location will be honored at Terrapin Crossroads. Additional tickets are available via TXR’s online store.
