The Lumineers Perform Two For ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’ – Including Tom Petty Cover

By Jeffrey Greenblatt Jun 28, 2017 12:22 pm PDT

Last night The Lumineers stopped by Studio 8G in Rockefeller Plaza to perform as the musical guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers. The folk-pop act performed two songs for the studio audience, one that was broadcast during the late-night talk show, and a second as a digital exclusive.

The band first offered up a take on “Angela,” from their most recent studio album Cleopatra. The Lumineers than stuck around to record a cover of “Walls,” from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ 1996 soundtrack for the movie She’s The One.

The Luminners will wrap up their stint as the opening act for U2 on their Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary Tour tonight and tomorrow at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
