Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real & Anders Osborne Honor Tom Petty In Los Angeles

Last night, headlined The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. New Orleans guitarist Anders Osborne played a solo acoustic set ahead of POTR’s performance. Both acts paid tribute to the late Tom Petty at various points of the evening.
Anders’ set included a beautiful rendition of “You Don’t Know How It Feels” from Tom Petty’s 1994 solo album, Wildflowers. Watch fan-shot video captured by Ed Congdon:
Lukas Nelson had two very different tributes to Tom Petty in store. One was a solo acoustic version of “Breakdown,” one of the legendary rocker’s earliest hits. The audience chimed in and turned the cover into a singalong. Here’s video thanks to Ed Congdon:
