Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real Announce New Album ‘Something Real’

Royal Potato Family will release Something Real, a new album by , on Friday, March 11. The band’s third album includes an guest appearance by recent frequent collaborator Neil Young.
Produced by Promise of the Real and Stevie Chadie, Something Real was recorded at William Westerfeld Mansion in San Francisco. Featuring Nelson and his brother Micah Nelson on vocals and guitar, drummer Anthony LoGerfo, bassist Corey McCormick and percussionist Tato Melgar, the album includes a cover of Scott McKenzie’s “San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)” with Young on vocals.
“I love all the bands I have played with, but this band and the multi-generational thing is epic,” said Young in statement.
Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real have a number of concert appearances lined up, and will be the musical guests on Conan on March 9. They will also head to Europe this summer for a tour with Neil Young.
