Lukas Nelson Performs Solo Acoustic Version Of Willie Nelson Favorite After POTR Show Cancellation

Country-rockers ‘s Tuesday night show at Las Colonias Park in Grand Junction, Colorado was cancelled due to inclement weather. Lukas shared a note on Facebook apologizing for the situation and played a solo acoustic version of a song made famous by his father, Willie Nelson.

Willie Nelson recorded a rendition of Fred Rose’s “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain” for his acclaimed 1975 album Red Headed Stranger. The country icon scored a number one hit on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with the tune. Lukas laid down a gorgeous, solo acoustic version of “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain” to accompany the note announcing the cancellation of last night’s POTR show.
