Lucius Vocalists To Perform With Roger Waters At Desert Trip Festival

Desert Trip, the festival featuring The Who, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young and Roger Waters, will take place over two weekends in October at Empire Polo Field in Indio, California. Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters recently revealed his band for the October 7 – 9/October 14 – 16 event will feature Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe from Brooklyn indie-pop act Lucius.

Waters is the only act of the six set to play Desert Trip who hasn’t toured recently. Roger ended his record-breaking The Wall World Tour in September of 2013. Laessig and Wolfe backed Roger Waters at last summer’s Newport Folk Festival. The pair recently mentioned longtime Waters collaborator G.E. Smith will also be part of Roger’s band for Desert Trip.

Both weekends of Desert Trip have sold out.
