Turntablist, producer and multi-instrumentalist LP Giobbi will present “Dead House” performances at a series of Dead & Company After Parties in May, June and July. A portion of proceeds from the seven concerts following stops on the Dead & Co.'s “The Final Tour” will go towards Femme House and MusiCares.
The EDM star developed a passion for Grateful Dead music from her Deadhead parents and was tapped to play Dead & Company’s Playing In The Sand 2020. While the festival was canceled due to COVID, LP Giobbi had already devoted countless hours to weaving GD stems into fresh pieces and went on to bring “Dead House” to this year’s destination event. Additionally, LP Giobbi was enlisted by the Garcia Family to prep a remix of Jerry’s debut solo album, Garcia, in 2022 to commemorate the record’s 50th anniversary. The result was Garcia (Remixed).

Giobbi co-founded Femme House to make sure there are opportunities for women and gender-expansive individuals on the technical side of the music industry. “LP and her team are creating the future producers, mixers, engineers, DJs, artists and executives of the industry by providing education and scholarships, cultivating community and propagating visual representation through tours and festival stage takeovers,” noted a press release regarding the nonprofit organization.
