Last Thursday, Lockn’ Festival organizers confirmed Dead & Company will indeed headline and play a total of four sets over two nights at this year’s festival. Each day since, organizers have continued to announce more acts that will be play the Arrington, Virginia event, which takes place August 23 – 26 at Infinity Downs and Oak Ridge Farm.
Below readers will find a graphic featuring nearly all of the schedule and lineup for Lockn’ 18. At this point, only a few names remain blurred out. Recent additions include Widespread Panic, Moon Taxi, Keller Williams, Sheryl Crow, Blues Traveler, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and Spafford.
The action starts on Thursday afternoon with a 5 p.m. set from an act yet to be revealed. From there, Lettuce and Umphrey’s McGee swap two sets a piece and JRAD plays late night. On Friday, the first three main stage sets will be confirmed soon and will be followed by sets from Turkuaz, Moon Taxi, Toots & The Maytals, Umphrey’s McGee, George Clinton & P-Funk and Widespread Panic. JRAD also holds down the late night action on Friday.
Two early Saturday Main Stage sets are yet to be announced, but Houston’s The Suffers go on at 12:30. Other acts confirmed for Saturday include Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Keller & The Keels, Tedeschi Trucks Band and two sets from Dead & Company. Lettuce gets in on the late night action with a “Don’t Lett Go” tribute to the Jerry Garcia Band.
Finally, Sunday at Lockn’ concludes with two more Dead & Company sets. The day begins in usual Sunday Lockn’ style with a Grateful Gospel set from Keller Williams. Later on Sunday, Spafford, Blues Traveler, Sheryl Crow and Tedeschi Trucks lead into D&C.
