Little Feat will bring the Waiting For Columbus 45th Anniversary Tour to The Beacon Theatre in New York City on April 12 and will be joined by a number of special guests. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash, fingerpicking guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, electric guitar maestro Steve Kimock, renowned vocalist Bettye LaVette and Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist John Leventhal will sit-in with the band at the Upper West Side venue.
Released in 1978 and recorded in 1977, Waiting For Columbus is an iconic live album featuring a slew of beloved Little Feat classics. The group will perform the LP in its entirety at the Beacon as they have done and will continue to do over the course of the celebratory excursion. Additionally, the David Bromberg Band will open and The Midnight Ramble Horns will augment Little Feat for portions of the concert.
Little Feat’s upcoming return to The Beacon Theatre comes after a pair of guest-filled performances at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium last month that were filmed for a future PBS special. Purchase Little Feat Beacon Theatre tickets via Ticketmaster.
