‘Super Troopers’ Cast Joins Limp Bizkit At Summer Of ’99 & Beyond Festival

Limp Bizkit headlined the Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival on Saturday. The band received a visit from the cast of Super Troopers to help them wrap up their festival set.

Presented by Creed, Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival gathered together ’90s hitmakers such as Cypress Hill, Bush, Candlebox, Puddle of Mudd, Hoobastank and other artists for the two-day event taking place in Tinley Park near Chicago.

Closing out the festival on Saturday, Limp Bizkit welcomed the cast of Super Troopers, which first arrived in 2001, for a little comedy before a performance of their 2000 single, “Break Stuff.”

Limp Bizkit launched their festival set with “Hot Dog,” followed by the first iteration of “Break Stuff,” originally appearing on the band’s 1999 album Significant Other. Additional popular songs performed included “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle),” “Nookie,” and “Take A Look Around,” alongside covers of George Michael (“Faith”) and The Who (“Behind Blue Eyes”).

The Super Troopers cast, also known as the Broken Lizard comedy group, then shook down Limp Bizkit ahead of the “Break Stuff” play. Watch the comical exchange and performance below:
