Leon Bridges recorded a cover of Marvin Gaye’s holiday song “Purple Snowflakes” for Amazon Music. A video for the track recorded in the California desert was recently released.

Bridges’ “Purple Snowflakes” cover was initially issued last month exclusively on Amazon Music as part of the service’s batch of new Amazon Original holiday songs and covers. The video premiered earlier this month on The TODAY Show.

The soul singer is joined on the track by his band featuring guitarists Kenneth Hollingsworth and Brandton Thomas, drummer Brandon Combs, bassist Joshua Crumbly, keyboardist Jonah Levine and backing vocalists Brandon “Marcel” Mills and Brittni Jessie.
