Grateful Dead tribute ensemble The Latin Dead released their debut album Eyes Of The World today. The collective led by Grammy-winning musician/composer/producer Óscar Hernández (Spanish Harlem Orchestra) and featuring guitarist John Kadlecik (Furthur, DSO) interprets Dead music through the lens of jazz and Afro-Latino traditions.

Along with Hernández on piano and John K on guitar/vocals, The Latin Dead are Andy Vargas (vocals), Rene Camacho (bass), Andy Sanesi (drums), Pete Nater (trumpet), Francisco Torres (trombone), Katisse Buckingham (tenor & alto saxophone, flute), Cha-Cha Charlie Chávez (congas, timbales, bongo, percussion) and Brenden Tacon (bongo, congas, bell).
