The Band’s famed 1976 farewell concert The Last Waltz will be honored with an all-star tour featuring Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Don Was, Kathleen Edwards and more. The Last Waltz Tour 2022 includes 13 tour dates on the East Coast between November 3 and 20. Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 16 at 10 a.m. ET. The original Last Waltz concert saw The Band joined by a bevy of special guests at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1976. The Band guitarist Robbie Robertson tapped Blackbird Presents to pay tribute to the The Last Waltz’s 40th anniversary in 2016 and the tradition has continued a number of times since. Haynes, Johnson, Was and Edwards will hit the road for the 2022 tour with Anders Osborne, Dave Malone, John Medeski, Cyril Neville, Terence Higgins, Bob Margolin and Mark Mullins & The Levee Horns.

The Last Waltz 2022 tour starts with two nights at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on November 3 and 4. From there, the trek hits Schenectady, New York (November 5); Philadelphia (November 6); Huntington, New York (November 8); Wallingford, Connecticut (November 9); Boston (November 11); Washington D.C. (November 12); Richmond, Virginia (November 13) and Atlanta (November 15). The celebratory excursion ends in Florida with stops in Pompano Beach (November 17), St. Augustine (November 18) and St. Petersburg (November 20).
