Hear Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams Conjure ‘Desert Island Dreams’ In Preview Of New Album

Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams shared a new single, “Desert Island Dreams.” The track will land on the husband and wife duo’s fourth studio album, All This Time, due out on April 5 via Royal Potato Family. Campbell and Williams also mapped out 2024 tour dates around the new record.

Campbell produced the album with contributions from Grammy-winner Justin Guip (Levon Helm, David Bromberg) who engineered and mixed the album and also added percussion. Little Feat keyboardist Bill Payne contributed organ and piano while new band member Brandon Morrison held down the bass.

All This Time also includes a posthumous drum performance by The Band’s Levon Helm, recorded shortly before he passed away in April 2012. Williams and Campbell were members of the Levon Helm Band and Campbell acted as music director for Levon’s legendary Midnight Rambles in Woodstock, New York.

All This Time sees Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams celebrating 40 years of marriage. The record reflects on both the good times and bad that come with any long term relationship, as Teresa explained.

“The biscuit making in telling the collective story is in being honest about our own story, pain and all,” she said. “This is what we do, and why we do it. When we settled on the album title, suddenly I saw in this circle of songs, that Larry had unwittingly written the ‘for better or worse’ tale of a long relationship — All This Time, complete with the beauty and tragedy of how quickly it goes.”

Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams are set to hit the road in support All This Time. Following appearances at the 30A Songwriters Festival and Little Feat’s Feat Camp later this month, Campbell and Williams launch their 2024 tour itinerary on April 16 at City Winery Boston ahead of stops in Fairfield (Connecticut) and Ardmore Music Hall near Philadelphia.

April 20 will see the pair in Vienna, Virginia near Washington D.C. followed by a concert in Pittsburgh. Campbell and Williams will then make a run through the Midwest with engagements in Columbus (Ohio), Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City and St. Louis.

The duo come to Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley on May 3 followed by a two-night stand in Atlanta. Campbell and Williams wrap the spring trek on May 11 in Lexington, Tennessee. Find Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams’ full tour routing below along with ticket info:
