Lana Del Rey returned to Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California to headline Coachella on Friday night. The performance was her first at the fest since 2014 and featured fellow festival performers Jon Batiste and Jack Antonoff joining Del Rey, as well as an unannounced drop in by Billie Eilish.

Eilish – who was not on the official Coachella lineup but played songs off her upcoming new studio album at a “Billie & Friends Party” held at the Do Lab – emerged at the end of Lana Del Rey’s set. The collaboration began with the pair dueting on Eilish’s “ocean eyes.” Eilish stuck around to accompany Del Rey on a set-closing performance of “Video Games.”

Batiste’s sit-in preceded Eilish’s guest spot. Batiste was brought out to perform “Candy Necklace,” the track he contributed to from Del Rey’s 2023 album, Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd. Antonoff, who performed at Coachella with his band Bleachers, came out at the start of the encore to play piano while a hologram of Del Rey was shown singing “Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me to Have – But I Have It.”

Coachella’s second weekend kicks off on Friday, April 19 with another Lana Del Rey headlining set. Watch Billie Eilish and Jon Batiste drop in on Lana Del Rey’s first weekend headlining set at Coachella below:
