Lake Street Dive recently took the stage at an empty Pete’s Candy Store in New York City to film a session for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert video series. The quintet played four songs from their latest album, Obviously.

A performance of “Hypotheticals,” the song featuring the lyric that gave Obviously its name, was up first. “This is a place we know and love, we’ve played here for many years,” bassist Bridget Kearney explained in welcoming viewers to the session.

Frontwoman Rachael Price and keyboardist Akie Bermiss then led the group through “Same Old News.” Price went on to shout out NIVA and discussed the importance of the Save Our Stages Act. Lake Street Dive concluded their Tiny Desk (Home) Concert with “Anymore” and “Making Do.”
