Guitarist/vocalist Celisse recently began a run supporting Lake Street Dive as part of the band’s Good Together Tour. Lake Street Dive brought out Celisse for collaborative covers of Hall & Oates’ 1977 hit “Rich Girl” this past weekend at concerts in California.
The tour takes its name from Lake Street Dive's new album. Good Together arrived on Friday, June 21. Celisse will open for LSD once again at August stops in Troutdale, Oregon (August 2); Seattle (August 3 & 4) and Portland, Maine (August 17 & 18).

“Rich Girl” was the first of Hall & Oates’ six singles to top the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Daryl Hall and John Oates originally issued the song on their 1976 studio album, Bigger Than Both Of Us.
Lake Street Dive has been covering “Rich Girl” regularly since 2012. Frontwoman Rachael Price shared lead vocal duties with Celisse on the cover in San Diego on Friday and Los Angeles on Saturday. The pair split verses and joined forces on a few others as well as the choruses. Celisse ripped a powerful solo towards the end of each version, which was the penultimate song of the night for Lake Street Dive in San Diego and Los Angeles.
