Hoppy Holidays :: 12.03.16 :: Fillmore Auditorium :: Denver
The String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth hosted the third annual Hoppy Holidays beer festival and concert at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver this past Saturday night. Proceeds went to Conscious Alliance as the non-profit organization helps to provide food and funding to impoverished communities across the nation this holiday season. In addition to three separate musical performances attendees were able to sample beers from more than 30 craft breweries.
Kyle began the evening by teaming with his SCI band mate Bill Nershi for a set. Hollingsworth and Nershi, who were dressed in their finest holiday gear, treated fans to a mix of The String Cheese Incident classics such as “One Step Closer” and “Don’t Say” and fun covers including “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.” Up next was a set from the Kyle Hollingsworth Band that saw Nershi add to “Texas” and “Bam!” as per L4LM. The evening ended with a set from JJ Grey & Mofro featuring such favorites as “Country Ghetto,” “Lochloosa” and “Orange Blossoms.” Photographer Jeremy Williams was at The Fillmore, view his gallery below:
