King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s New Album ‘Flight b741’ Taking Off In August

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announced their new album, Flight b741, will be released on August 9 through their new p(doom) records label. The first single and music video from the 10-track follow-up to 2023’s The Silver Cord is due on Tuesday, July 9 as per a post on social media.
While the prolific Australian rock band hasn’t yet shared any of the music from their forthcoming 26th studio album, they played five of the songs live during their recently-completed European tour. “Sad Pilot,” “Daily Blues,” “Le Risqué,” “Mirage City” and “Raw Feel” were each debuted over the course of the run.

“Been working real hard on this one,” frontman Stu Mackenzie said of Flight b741. “So excited for you all to hear it!”
