Stella Lefty Celebrates Birthday By Joining Mumford & Sons At MSG

Stella Lefty became the latest guest to join Mumford & Sons during their three-show run at Madison Square Garden, sharing the stage together on Thursday night in New York City. Lefty, who was celebrating her 24th birthday, joined the band on a performance of her single, “Boston,” and stuck around for Mumford’s “Here.”

The MSG run also featured surprise appearances from Jason Sudeikis, who joined Mumford & Sons for the Ted Lasso theme song on the opening night, and Oscar Isaac, who sang “Dink’s Song (Fare Thee Well)” during that same concert.

Medium Build supported the run and Rob Moose played violin with Mumford & Sons for the three MSG shows. The Prizefighter Tour continues on Saturday, August 15 in Gilford, New Hampshire.

Lefty previously joined Mumford & Sons in July at London as part of the BST Hyde Park concert. Released as a single in February, “Boston” appears on Lefty’s forthcoming album, Long Way Home, which comes out on Friday, August 21. The track contains elements of Noah Kahan’s song, “Stick Season.”
