King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard concluded their Fall 2025 European Tour on Saturday at Filmstudion in Gothenburg, Sweden. The band once again welcomed opener Maddie Ashman to guest during the finale of what has been another landmark tour for KGLW.

King Gizzard’s fall tour this year has seen the band bringing their Phantom Island orchestra shows to Europe as well as offering several Rave Shows across the continent. The Rave Shows have seen Gizz considerably leveling up their synth table performances.

London-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Maddie Ashman — who shares KGLW’s affinity for microtonal music — opened up a number of KGLW’s Rave Shows in the latter stages of the trek. The first collaboration of the tour came on November 14 in Copenhagen. She reprised that role during the band’s tour-closer in Gothenburg, Sweden on Saturday.

Gizz kicked off the show with “Perihelion” before heading through “Cyboogie,” “The Bitter Boogie” and the recently debuted Omnium Gatherum deep cut “Candles.” The show also saw the debut of yet another original, the band has been steadily unveiling new material on the Euro trek, titled “No Body” after which they welcomed Maddie Ashman on cello.

The collaborations in Copenhagen and Gothenburg have been dubbed “Maddie Jams.” In Gothenburg, kglw.net noted: “Once again featuring opener Maddie Ashman on cello, this was a more high energy jam that felt like an extended intro into ‘The Silver Cord.'”

King Gizzard went it alone for “The Silver Cord” to bring the concert and tour to a close. Watch KGLW’s full show from Gothenburg via Chris Dempsey below:
