Jorma Kaukonen To Mix Solo Acoustic Dates & Hot Tuna Performances

Famed guitarist/vocalist Jorma Kaukonen has another busy year on tap. Kaukonen recently added a bevy of solo acoustic dates to his upcoming touring itinerary that already included a number of Hot Tuna performances of both the acoustic and electric varieties.

Up first for Kaukonen is a slot supporting the Tedeschi Trucks Band on February 25 at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. Here’s hoping for a collaboration between the acts. Jorma kicks off a series of solo dates at the Music Box Supper Club in Cleveland on March 3. Kaukonen then treks around the Northeast for the first few weeks of March.

April will feature a series of Hot Tuna dates including an appearance at this year’s Wanee Festival with guitarist Steve Kimock. Hot Tuna will also perform at Dark Star Jubilee ’16. Jorma returns to the acoustic format in early June with a two-night stand at City Winery in NYC among the highlights.
