Jonathan Wilson Shares ‘In Heaven Making Love’ Single

Jonathan Wilson issued a new single entitled “In Heaven Making Love.” The track appears on the singer-songwriter’s upcoming album, Dixie Blur.

Bella Union will release the 14-track Dixie Blur on March 6. The album includes fellow singles, “Korean Tea,” “’69 Corvette” and “So Alive.” Wilson shared the following statement regarding “In Heaven Making Love”:

That was one written from the road and driving down some highway in Spain. It was written in a totally different way for my last album, Rare Birds. I tried but I could never really get it, but then we did it this new way and it was like, “Oh, that makes total sense now.”

Prior to making Dixie Blur, Wilson relocated from Los Angeles to Nashville where he recorded the album at Sound Emporium Studio. Co-produced by Wilson and Wilco‘s Patrick Sansone, the album features fiddler Mark O’Connor, keyboardist Drew Erickson, bassist Dennis Crouch, guitarist Kenny Vaughan, pedal steel guitarist Russ Pahl and multi-instrumentalist Jim Hoke.
