John Mayer Trio With Chick Corea Cover After Midnight

After a five year hiatus the John Mayer Trio is back. Mayer’s blues outfit and special guests spent time recording this week and last night visited Late Night With Seth Meyers for a performance of JJ Cale’s “After Midnight.” 
Mayer was joined by the trio’s Pino Palladino and Steve Jordan as well as Chick Corea, Manolo Madrena and Wallace Roney for last night’s smooth take on “After Midnight.” Watch how it went down:
