Joe Russo’s Almost Dead confirmed free LOCKN’ livestream concerts. However, the streams will now take place October 1 – 3 beginning at 8 p.m. ET instead of October 2 – 4 as previously announced with the first two shows airing for free on Twitch via The Relix Channel and the third concert offered exclusively to 2021 LOCKN’ ticketholders via FANS.

The shows will also now take place in an indoor location as opposed to outside at the LOCKN’ site in Arrington, Virginia. Addtionally, the Twitch streams will support voter registration organization HeadCount.

JRAD posted a statement on social media detailing the changes. Read it below:

LOCKN’ Festival, Relix, Twitch, and FANS announced today that Joe Russo’s Almost Dead’s upcoming pay-per-view livestreams originally scheduled for October 2, 3 and 4 will now be broadcast for free
via twitch.tv/therelixchannel at 8:00PM ET on October 1 – 2. The livestreams are presented by Dayglo Presents and Dogfish Head, marking the debut of The Relix Channel on Twitch.

To support voter registration and turnout in the upcoming election, Relix, Twitch, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead have teamed up with HeadCount, the non-partisan organization that uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy. Viewers will have the opportunity to make in-stream donations to HeadCount and be able to verify their voter registration status.

LOCKN’ 2021 admission ticket purchasers will receive an access code to watch an exclusive set of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, hosted on FANS, October 3 at 8:00PM ET. All purchasers of the previously announced pay-per-view livestreams will receive a full refund.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will perform at an indoor location and the broadcast will feature visual integration of LOCKN’ landscapes, giving fans at home a unique and immersive experience.
