Jim James & Talib Kweli Among Pathway To Paris Los Angeles Lineup Additions

As reported, a Pathway To Paris concert will be held at The Theatre At The Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on September 16 featuring an all-star lineup. Organizers of the evening, which coincides with the conclusion of the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, recently announced a handful of lineup additions.

My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James, singer-songwriters Dhani Harrison and Lucinda Williams and hip-hop star Talib Kweli will join a lineup that already included Patti Smith, Flea, Karen O, Eric Burdon and others. Pathway To Paris will feature a mix of musical performances, speakers and a “visual art and immersive sound experience” presented by multimedia artist Steven Sebring.

Another Pathway To Paris concert will take place at the Masonic in San Francisco on September 14. This year’s Pathway To Paris events follow concerts held in Paris in 2015 to coincide with the signing of the Paris agreement for global climate action and a 2017 event in New York City. Organizers aim to use the concerts to “serve as a call to action, urging the international community to ramp up ambition towards a climate safe future for all.”
