Jim James Announces Free Live Performance In New York City Today

My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James took to his social feeds today to announce a last-minute show scheduled to take place later this afternoon in New York City. The surprise live show will be held in NYC’s Soho neighborhood at 330 Hudson Street as part of the opening of car manufacturer Cadillac’s Cadillac House.
Those looking to attend the “big ol’ block party” are urged to get there ahead of the ceremony’s 5 p.m. start time. Jim notes, “Everyone’s invited. No charge. No tickets. Come have fun!” A page about the event on donyc.com reflects the musical performance will take place between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
