Jerry Garcia Band & Clarence Clemons Jam On Rolling Stones Cover In 1989

The Jerry Garcia Band teams up with E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons on a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Let’s Spend The Night Together” in the latest preview of a forthcoming GarciaLive release. GarciaLive Volume 13: September 16th, 1989 Poplar Creek Music Theatre will arrive via Round Records on April 24.
Clemons used the opportunity of an E Street Band hiatus to join the Jerry Garcia Band for a series of five concerts during the JGB’s Fall Tour 1989. The last stop featuring the “Big Man” was a performance at Poplar Creek Music Theatre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on September 16, 1989 — the concert featured as GarciaLive Volume 13.
